What is Karaoke Champ?

Karaoke Champ is a great new website for people to share their love of karaoke online. We're looking for Scotland's most entertaining performers to submit videos of themselves in action. You don't have to be brilliant (although that certainly helps!), just entertaining. It's open to everyone, young and old, solo performers or groups. There are some great prizes to be won too. You could win £5000. The best rated performers will have the chance to sing live in front of their family and friends for the title of Sunday Mail Karaoke Champ at the Grand Finale on Friday 18th April.

All video clips that have been submitted by the 4th April, will be considered by our special panel of industry experts. Our judges will select 5 finalists in each of the 5 categories all of whom will be invited to attend the grand finale on the 18th April at the Carling Academy in Glasgow. You can enter in to one or all of the categories as long as the song you are singing fits in with the category genre.

At the star studded event, finalists will perform in front of over 1,000 guests, with our expert judges selecting one winner from each category – and there's loads of prizes for everyone! Our friends at Star For A day have provided us with recording experiences for each category runner up and a Platinum Recording Package for each category winner. The category winners will then have one final bash at picking up the Karaoke Champ title by impressing the judges with their final performance. From these one winner will be crowned Scotland's Karaoke Champ and will walk away with £5000 plus an opportunity to work with the best in the business and create their own album thanks to Star For A Day.
